AvSafety seminars for pilots
February 2018
Aviation safety—Lessons for Life
In 2018, CASA's Aviation Safety Advisors (ASAs) will run a series of AvSafety seminars—Aviation Safety—Lessons for Life.

This third series explores three major aviation safety related themes:
• Flying within your limits
• Making the right decisions in-flight
• Hazards on arrival.
Using accident case studies from previous ATSB investigations, our ASAs will take participants through many of the safety related decisions faced by pilots at three crucial phases—namely before departing, in-flight, and at the arrival and landing phase of flight.

As well as these main themes, the seminars also provide an opportunity for a brief update on key safety messages and topics from Airservices Australia, the Bureau of Meteorology and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
The seminars are an ideal opportunity for you to interact with your ASA, discuss local issues and ask questions of the regulator.
